Ek Tek Wormtek Puppy Deworming Suspension is primarily used to treat and prevent intestinal parasites in puppies. Here's a breakdown of its specific uses:  

Treatment and Prevention of Intestinal Worms:

• Roundworms: It effectively eliminates roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina) which are common in puppies and can cause various health issues. 

• Hookworms: It targets hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala) that can cause anemia and other complications in puppies.  

• Whipworms: It helps to get rid of whipworms (Trichuris vulpis) that can irritate the large intestine of puppies.

Directions for Use

Dosage:

The recommended dose is 1 ml of suspension per kilogram (kg) of body weight.

Administration:

Directly: You can give the suspension directly to your puppy using a syringe. Carefully measure the correct amount based on your puppy's weight.

Mixed with Food: You can mix the suspension with a small amount of your puppy's food. Make sure your puppy consumes all the food to ensure they receive the full dose.   

Deworming Schedule:

Start Early: Begin deworming your puppy at 2 weeks of age.  

Repeat Regularly: Repeat the deworming every 2 weeks until your puppy is 3 months old.

Monthly: After 3 months, deworm your puppy once a month until they reach 6 months of age.

Switch to Tablets: After 6 months, you can switch to deworming tablets formulated for adult dogs.
