My cat turned away from it the moment she sniffed it. Somehow managed to get a strip on her tongue, and the tantrum that followed was epic with a lot of frothing spitting and shading her head. I’m glad she doesn’t know how to bite off her tongue.
I think the issue is that a cat’s needs are different- they are fussy eaters on the best of days and their preferences may not be the same as dogs. Tailoring supplements exclusively for cats is important, which are not too strong in taste/smell.
That said, since I did buy it, I now break the strip down to 8 pcs and mix one small piece in her wet food at a time for her to eat - any bigger and she identifies the smell/taste and will refuse to eat the food itself no matter how hungry she is. And since it’s like that, its hard to gauge the effect of the strip - her improved coat is more due to a shift to royal canin food.
