• Fiprofort Plus Spot-On is a veterinary product containing fipronil and (S)-methoprene. 
• Fipronil acts on chloride channels and their ligands, particularly the GABA neurotransmitter. 
• It effectively eliminates fleas within 24 hours and ticks and lice within 48 hours of application. 
• On the other hand, (S)-methoprene, similar to juvenile hormone, hinders the development of immature stages of insects, causing impaired development and death of immature flea stages. 
• Additionally, (S)-methoprene prevents the development of flea larvae and pupae.
