I am sharing this review to highlight a serious health concern related to the product design of the Skatrs Water Dispenser for Dogs and Cats. This review is not intended to blame the seller, but to raise awareness about a potentially unsafe product for pets.

The water dispenser contains a metal spring/threaded component inside the water flow mechanism that remains in constant contact with water. Within just 2 days of regular use, this metal component started rusting / oxidizing, meaning pets are drinking water that has been exposed to a corroding metal surface.

This is extremely concerning because:

The product is marketed as safe, durable, and non-toxic
It is meant for continuous daily use
Rusting occurred almost immediately, not after prolonged wear
Pets consuming such water may face serious health risks over time

For a product designed specifically for pet hydration, any exposed metal that corrodes within days is a major design and material failure. Pet parents trust platforms like Supertails because pets are family, and products are chosen with care and confidence.

I am attaching images and a video to clearly demonstrate the issue. Given that this problem occurred within just two days, I believe this product poses a high potential risk and should be urgently reviewed by the manufacturer, and its sale paused until safety is reassessed.
