I ordered 112 pouches of Whiskas Tuna in Jelly Adult Cat Food from Supertails on 29 May, and the order was delivered on 30 May. Upon receiving the parcel, I immediately noticed that the box was wet, damaged, and covered in a sludgy substance from the inside. After inspecting the contents, I discovered that the cat food appeared to be spoiled.
To verify the condition, I opened one or two pouches and was shocked to find that the food was infested with maggots and emitted an extremely foul, rotten odor. This raised serious concerns about product quality, storage, and safety.
I promptly contacted Supertails customer support and was asked to provide extensive evidence, including photographs of the inside and outside of the box, aerial shots of the package, and images of the spoiled contents. After reviewing the evidence, the support team acknowledged the issue and assured me that I would receive either a full refund or a replacement for the order.
However, despite multiple follow-up calls and several days of communication with customer service, the matter was not properly resolved. Instead of receiving a refund for the entire order value of ₹4,229, I was refunded only ₹522, which appears to cover the cost of a single box rather than the complete order.
I am extremely disappointed with the way this situation has been handled. Receiving spoiled, maggot-infested pet food is unacceptable in itself, but the lack of adequate customer support and failure to honor the promised resolution has made the experience even more frustrating. ₹4,229 is a significant amount of money, and a partial refund of only ₹522 is neither fair nor satisfactory given the circumstances.
I expected far better quality control and customer service from Supertails or atleast a full refund and replacement of the entire order .Unfortunately, this experience has severely damaged my trust in the platform.
