I appreciate how easy it is to shop for bulky pet products through supertails. It's also very convenient that items get delivered timely and sometimes early. However, I often find the packaging disappointing, as sometimes it can be too much.

I ordered 2x45 of these wet food pouches, as I have two cats. The parcel arrived with too many layers of bubble wrap and cling film, which has been an issue with supertails products before. Not only that, but each crate of pouches was taped over also. Unpacking this parcel damaged some of the pouches, because removing the tape caused some packets to tear. I had to go through every one of the 90 pouches to make sure they didn't have any rips or tears, while seperating the ones which were covered in tuna juice, as they would be a risk to catching flies. Out of the six crates, only two crates can be kept outside while the other four have to be kept in the fridge for preservation, as it's too much labour to wash the pouches covered in tuna juice. I have attached photos of the damaged packets (on the floor), the amount of packets I need to put in the fridge (four crates), and the amount of packets which are safe(two crates).

It's important for packaging to be intuitive and appropriate to the product, as too much cling wrap and bubble wrap is too much plastic waste. While I have been happy to hold onto some extra bubble wrap from the parcels I receive from supertails, I do find the over packing and too much tape unnecessary, and annoying to unpack, especially when the items in the order are not necessarily breakable. I understand that such packing is done to protect the order, but in this case the very packing done to protect the products actually damaged the product instead. Please be mindful of such resources. The wet food is in paste form. It's not chunks in Jelly like Whiskas Tuna in Jelly. My cats refused to eat it. It has a distinct fishy smell. If your cat likes to have gravy, they might like it but mine prefers chunks thrown in jelly.

After giving the chicken jelly from same brand I was a bit disappointed as I got 24 pouches each and I was worried that it might be wasted. But when they tried tuna the finished their meal and was expecting for more.
