I had informed the staff that my cat did not like being handled by strangers so to trim his nails as quickly as possible. During the visit, I also decided to get him vaccinated and dewormed and this is where it all went wrong.
They insisted on putting him into a full body harness to restrain him even though he was visibly stressed. When I saw him in that condition, I insisted that they stop immediately, and instead of showing concern for my completely traumatised cat, they wanted to know when I would be bringing him to complete the vaccination. You see, the thought of a Rs. 3,500 bill turning into a Rs. 200 bill was more disturbing to them than my pet's severe distress.
It has taken him almost 10 days to get back to normal and I will never be able to coax him into a vet visit again. So thanks for nothing Supertails. I'm never coming back!
